Hockey sticks in statistics graphs are almost never good news. Why? Because what goes up, must come down. Eventually, the Fed will have to sell off their holdings, and this will push up interest rates without solving the inventory problem, leaving the housing sector looking comatose.


Still, the time to buy a home looks better today than it does a year from now.
