Although it began as a center of mining activity in the Soledad Canyon, Acton has become an affluent "bedroom community" for those who work in the more industrialized areas of the county, but prefer to make their home in the "Country".   One of the many "Things to Do" in acton is to visit the Shambala Preserve.  The town of Agua Dulce is best known for Vasquez Rocks CA State Park and home to Agua Dulce Vineyards, the largest winery in LA County.  Jump on board the Vincent Grade/Acton Station Metrolink.  It takes a quick 25 to 30 minutes to reach the San Fernando Valley and approximately 50 to 60 minutes to Los Angeles.  Check out the many Groups & Clubs the Acton Community has to offer.
